This is our most popular "Rep" age group and we play developmental games with Burlington, Hamilton, Toronto, London, Chatham, Ajax, Hamilton, Barrie and other South Central Ontario cities. These kids enjoy a safe and athletic full-equipment, tackle football game with other tiered players of their own skill level.

We are thrilled to offer our 2010 rep players the chance to play in what has become the premier, tiered minor football league in the province, the OFC. Click to read about the OFC and other OMF Partners here ...

The OFC was the place we wanted our teams to play - as we believe this group exceeds capabilities of the OVFL and OMFL combined when it comes to top quality football programs - that also bring transparency and community values to minor sport.

We can't wait for this season to begin!

Bantam Tackle Rep League players play 8 football clubs in the spring/summer season. A typical season plays half of our games at home - and half away - with coach-bus and school buses taking players to and from away-games.

Equipment Pickup is on March 6th and Practices begin on Tuesday March 9th. Our first game will be on May 29th and final games will be in late July. See our calendar for more details - and what to wear to practice each day. Last year we practiced at Blakelock, Iroquois Ridge High Schools, and Appleby College - and this year we expect to be practicing and taking games at Loyola High School as well.

Our Bantams are coached by a stellar group of former Titan coaches, experienced parents, and high school football coaches - under the supervision of OMF's Football Operations lead - Coach Sean Roberts. Our coaching roster for 2010 includes:

Colin Bales - Head Coach/OC

Gord Uszkay

Ken Busby

Terry - Defensive Coordinator/LB

Dave Kohler

Cort Challis

Jamie White - DB's

Here is what we've made work for Oakville kids...

  • The best of the best equipment - Helmet, pads, and body armour. OMF Rep runs the best helmet and equipment in our league.
  • Numbered Uniforms with Game and Practice Jerseys and Pants. Players keep their game jersey after the season.
  • 16 practices leading up to our first game; first games in early May; and a game schedule running through to late July.
  • Practices run two days a week plus one game on the weekend - typically. Schedules are posted up to 4 months in advance for the convenience of parents - and our coaches try to make accommodations for busy family life and for summer plans.
  • turf game fields, 5 refs per game, full equipment, Ivor Wyne day, trainers at practices & games, and much more.

Titan Bantams 2009And at just $650 per season, our Rep Tackle Football program is - we believe - the best valued full-equipment Rep club in Oakville. All helmets, shoulder pads, jerseys, etc. are included - so when compared to rates paid by our Rep hockey players - our expense is much more reasonable.

The OMF is a community led, volunteer run, not-for-profit football league working to build a ground-swell of interest in American Football in Oakville. Show your support by participating in our programs and by volunteering time where you can.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
