Oakville Minor Football (OMF) is affiliated with the best leagues and associations in Canadian and Ontario Minor Football...

The OFC - Ontario Football Conference

http://www.ofcfootball.com/

The OMF is very proud to announce that our application to play in the spring with the OFC was accepted during their January 28th, 2010 AGM. This league began in the 1950s and is comprised of some the most mature not-for-profit Minor football clubs in the Province. The OFC offer Tier I tackle minor football leagues for Varsity and Tier I & II leagues for Junior Varsity, Bantam, and PeeWee age players.

The OFC was the place we wanted our teams to play - with its premier quality football programs and professional, transparent, and strong community focused values, we see a great match for Oakville.

To give our parents a sense of what it takes to organize minor football each year, the Royal York Hotel in Toronto hosted this year's 2 day OFC AGM in a mass boardroom and break-out rooms accommodating 60+ club and board members from across South and Central Ontario.

We're very excited about this development and can't wait for the 2010 season to begin! Our kids will love it.

The MFL - Mississauga Football League

http://www.m-f-l.ca/

For 40 years, the MFL has operated one of the the largest fall house-leagues in Ontario. In 2009, the MFL invited its neighbouring community-club, the OMF, to become a Division and to play Oakville teams alongside their extensive and mature local house league teams.

We are very happy to offer kids in our community the chance to play here - as we continue to run these programs again this year. The MFL runs between 9 and 12 teams of the highest calibre minor football in each age group; on a seemingly endless number of terrific, lit fall fields; without the burden of lengthy school bus and coach trips. We practice on Oakville fields and then play most of our games in nearby South-West Mississauga.

The Town of Oakville - Parks and Rec CORE Group

http://www.m-f-l.ca/

The OMF has been a member of Oakville CORE since 2008 and we rely on this hard working team to balance the needs of football players in Oakville against the needs of other Minor Sport groups in one of the most heavily-utilized sport facility communities in the Country.

Our Governing Bodies

OFA - Ontario Football Alliance

http://www.ontariofootballalliance.com/

The OFA is in a state of reconstruction this year - and so we look forward to this important provincial governing body correcting what has amounted to a pretty dreadful year for them. We look to the OFA for training and insurance administration - and in past years - for governing problem clubs or difficult situations that emerge within the various leagues in the province.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
