PeeWee Tackle House League - Fall Season

PeeWee Tackle players are boys and girls ages 11 and 12 years old.

Flag Football 2011

Spring Flag is for Boys and Girls - ages 5 to 10 years old!

Oakville Minor Football launched 8 FLAG teams in the Spring of 2010 - for just $195 per player !  Click here to Register for 2011!

Flag games are 5-on-5 - and we keep team sizes small to ensure that kids aren't spending time on the sidelines. We had such a great 2010 season that we are expanding our programs to include 5 and 6 year olds in 2011 as well. This year also set a coaching record as 25 parents stepped up to assist coach their kids' teams - and that's made it a great community program.

Flag Football is fun, fast, and builds great hand-eye coordination and running skills. Girls and boys turning 5 to 10 years old in 2011 are eligible to play - and we hope Oakville families will enjoy 2011 flag programs every bit as much as this year's group did.

Flag is an important addition to our programs and so we are pulling out all the stops to be able to offer a top quality program from the moment you register.

Here is what we are working on for Oakville kids next spring...

  • Uniforms include a Flag Jersey, take-home jersey, shorts and socks.
  • 3 flags per jersey - makes the game very fair and gives every level of athlete a chance to tackle their opponent.
  • A 10 week season begins in May through to July 14th.
  • Practices run before games once a week, so the schedule is convenient and doesn't cut into summer plans.
  • A Team Photo and 1 individual photo are included in your registration

At just $195 for a season, our community Flag Football program should get your kids in shape - and learning the skills to take them on to high school football or beyond.

About Flag

Flag football runs on standard or half soccer-sized fields with 5-on-5 teams. Balls are sized appropriate to age; 2 refs are present at each game; and action is fast and furious. There are no field-goals but there are punts - and we run on half fields to keep the run-away plays in check.

About OMF

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
