Varsity Tackle Rep League

Varsity Tackle Rep Programs run in the Spring because our players often segway from hockey in the winter, to SCOFL football in the spring, and then to High School football in the Fall. Varsity Reps are tremendous athletes that run a full-equipment, tackle football game series with other developmental city teams throughout South Central Ontario.

Considered a performance step below the OVFL, our SCOFL league players enjoy the camaraderie of a winning team environment without the pre-CFL skill-level play that can lead to safety concerns.

Our head coach, Joe Moscato, is moving up to Varsity after leading the Championship JV team in 2009. Coach Joe is also the Football Coach at Holy Trinity High School in Oakville - and is credited with leading the most winning High School football program in Oakville.

Here is what we've made work for Oakville kids...

  • The best of the best equipment - Helmet, pads, and body armour.
  • Uniforms - Fitted Jerseys and Football Pants
  • A 10 week season beginning in late March and running through to mid-July.
  • Practices run two days a week with one game on the weekend. Schedules are posted up to 4 months in advance for your convenience and coaches make every effort to accommodate a busy family or summer plans.
  • JV is an exciting level of football and most of our boys will go on to High School and College teams as they develop.

And at just $650 per season, our community-led Rep Tackle Football program is - we believe - the best-valued minor football program in Oakville.

The OMFL is a community led, volunteer run, not-for-profit football league working to build a ground-swell of interest in American Football in Oakville. Show your support by participating in our programs and by volunteering time where you can.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
